HURRAH! 2025 will celebrate all the ways the East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation supports our schools.
On Saturday, April 26 from 7-11pm, HURRAH! will fill Wege Plaza overlooking Reeds Lake. The Foundation's fundraiser of the year will bring our entire community together for food, friends, and fun showcasing all the opportunity the Foundation and our supporters provide to our students.
It will be a great night for a great cause. Tickets to the event--which has sold out the last two years--will be available soon. You can reserve your spot by signing up for the sponsorship opportunities available now on the HURRAH! page on the Foundation's website.

Thank you to everyone who made a year-end donation to the Foundation! Thanks to you, we offer our students opportunity not only in reading, writing, science, and math, but also in the fine arts and performing arts, world languages, robotics, athletics, Innovation Lab, Gone Boarding, mental health resources, and so much more. We support our students in nearly everything they do.
There's still time to take advantage of matching gifts from two incredibly generous donors. One individual has pledged to match all donations to the Mental Health and Wellness Fund dollar for dollar up to a total of $50,000. Another donor has pledged to match all donations to Jimmy's Friendship Fund for families in need up to a total of $20,000. Jimmy's Friendship Fund provides funds to families who are experiencing temporary financial hardship so more of our students can participate in all the opportunities our schools offer.
By donating now to either one of these funds, the impact of your gift will be doubled!

Kabookie Week
East Grand Rapids High School celebrates the life lessons of kindness, inclusivity, and friendship representing the legacy of Jimmy Gerken through Kabookie Week, held each February. Kabookie Week includes school spirit days, an assembly, and a school dance, to commemorate Jimmy and promote togetherness.
